Winery Sternat Lenz

The family enterprise Sternat Lenz comprises a winery, a tavern and guest rooms. Focusing on quality and working in touch with nature have always been a high priority for the bio-dynamic winery. The grapes are harvested manually, and herbal essences are applied to increase the vitality of the vines.

The lively wines convey pure joie de vivre. They prove to be accessible, open and full of feelgood flavor. Herbert Sternat’s ambition is not to follow trends, but to create distinct wines that are as fascinating as they are challenging and enjoyable. In accordance with the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, the winemakers strive to work in cosmic harmony, to learn about the needs of the plants and to ensure their best possible development. This goes for the vineyards as well as for the vegetable gardens. Their high quality products are then finished to perfection in the wine bottle or for the plates in the Buschenschank tavern. Ham and sausages from porc or local venison are also among the specialities.

Agriculture means diversity. In addition to the winery, the farm also comprises sheep, orchards, pastures and forests in harmonious synergy. In the heart of pure nature and tranquility, the guest rooms invite not only cyclists and hikers to take a break from everyday life and enjoy the paradisical view of the surrounding vineyards.
