Winery Gut Moser
Enjoyable country living
High up is literally true here. The Gut Moser winery is the highest winery in Styria. The Schmiernberg vineyard surrounding the estate is 700 metres above sea level. The view is breathtaking, and the variety of activities on offer here means there is never a dull moment.
The vineyards are planted exclusively on south-facing slopes and barren soils, and are tended with great care and meticulous attention to nature.
Visitors to the winery who want to get an overview during a tasting will be amazed when they enter the winery’s own wine shop: a wine shop, a distillery, a snack corner with regionally produced cuisine and fruity juices for non-alcoholic enjoyment are waiting to be discovered. And all this right next to the wine and rose garden with its many cosy spots.
The guided tastings at Gut Moser are particularly popular. They impart technical and traditional knowledge with plenty of insight into the practical work involved.
The Winzer-Hotel at Gut Moser and the Landhaus, a traditional farmhouse in a very quiet location which is rented out as a holiday home, complete the offer here at the winery.
Whether you are a group or an individual guest, travelling on business or on holiday.
The same applies to everyone: arrive ‘high up’, marvel and enjoy!
